The Association of Russian-Speaking Writers in a United Germany (SLOG) presents a program dedicated to contemporary Russian-language literary development in a transnational context. The organization brings together authors working outside the "purely Russian" cultural paradigm and fosters intercultural dialogue through publications, translations, festivals, and interdisciplinary projects.
The first and main part of the program focuses on two new books.
Yulia Efremenkova will present a collection of short stories "Bottle collectors don't have days off" — subtle and observant prose about the everyday life of a big city, its invisible spaces and people. The texts explore themes of vulnerability, dignity, and the search for one's place.
Dmitry Dragilev will talk about the novel Uncrowned, which focuses on the fates of "non-heroic" characters—the bearers of memory and personal experience. The novel combines narrative with philosophical reflection on humanity in the face of cultural and social crises.

The second part of the program dedicated to the peculiarities of SLOG as an art community.
Elena Tikhomirova-Madden will discuss interdisciplinary practices that combine literature, music, and the visual arts, as well as multilingual readings and festival formats.The final part — Ildar Kharisov's conversation with poet and novelist Vadim Fadin. His new book of poetry will be presented. Late Hour, including previously unpublished texts.
