Anna Gay is an art historian and former contemporary art curator, currently focusing on research in the field of difficult heritage. She is working on her dissertation, exploring critical discourses of heritage, as well as conducting postcolonial and decolonial studies, studying the relationship between art, memory and identity. With extensive experience in academia and museums, Anna analyzes complex issues of the coexistence of conflicting narratives of history and memory, their resolution, reconciliation, and representation in contemporary culture.
