The novel by the famous artist and teacher Viktor Melamed (“Machinery of the Portrait”, “Diagonal Frog”) “PGT Dixon. Trilogy” is an experimental and stunningly gripping text about violence, about other people (and not only people), about war and freedom. This is a text that Linor Goralik, who wrote the foreword, calls a poem. A book like nothing else, literally a punch in the gut. The first part of the trilogy, published as a separate book, was shortlisted for the “Dar” award.
“Revolution of Patience. Belarusian Bricolage” by the famous German philologist, essayist, translator, professor of Slavic studies at the University of Freiburg Heinrich Kirschbaum (“Valhalla’s white wine… German theme in O. Mandelstam’s poetry”). This is a collection of texts dedicated to the Belarusian protests, a kind of cultural reflection on what is happening in Belarus. The book is published in two different covers.
