Sebastian Hafner (1907-1999) was one of the most important German publicists of the post-war period. His works, such as The Story of a German and A Certain Hitler, received wide recognition. Sebastian Hafner was a keen critic of the political situation and a convinced democrat who recognized the rise of National Socialism early on.
The presentation of the book will be attended by Alexey Khairutdinov (translator, editor of Hafner's translation), Grigory Kofman (actor, director, poet, editor), Olaf Kühl (author of the book "Z A Brief History of Russia, Seen from the End", translator, winner of German literary awards) and Sofia Hübner.
