One Book Publishing was founded in 2024 for the sake of one book, Alexei Navalny's autobiography, "Patriot." It was important to us that you hear Alexei's voice in his native Russian.
A year has passed, and we've realized we don't want to stop. We'll continue publishing books that are impossible to publish in Putin's Russia. Books that are banned disappear from shelves, evade censorship, and must be read.
We are currently focusing on translated literature. We believe that Russian-speaking readers should continue to have access to the most important works of our time—those that help us think, experience, and resist.
