Literature Without Borders

Publishing house Literature Without Borders has been operating in Latvia since 2015, gradually taking over the programming of the Moscow-based ARGO-RISK Publishing House, which had been in operation since 1993. The publishing house's primary focus is contemporary poetry. The publishing house currently publishes the poetry magazine "Vozdukh" (published since 2006) and its book supplement (the number of collections has reached its second hundred). In 2026, the "Generation" series, dedicated to poets of the 20-year-old generation, was relaunched. Other books in "Literature Without Borders" include individual collections of translated poetry, from Nobel laureate Herta Müller to the classic 20th-century Ukrainian poet Yuri Tarnavsky, as well as an anthology of world poetry about HIV/AIDS.
