Nastya Rogatko is a Belarusian born in Russia and spent her childhood in Ukraine. She was the editor-in-chief of a media outlet and managed communications for Svetlana Tikhanovskaya, the leader of the Belarusian Democratic Forces. She now lives in Warsaw, preparing a book for translation into other languages, and consulting with those wishing to self-publish.
"Carry It With You" is an ironic autofiction of 12 and a half short stories about how to live when the instructions run out. Emigration, identity crisis, life in a woman's body, the political and media corridors, the patriarch's voices, sex as a way to regain one's selfhood—each chapter explores the various breakdowns and treasures of our time.
