The Commonwealth of Russian-Speaking Writers in Germany (CSL)
SLoG is a non-profit organization that helps Russian-speaking writers and poets in emigration and supports cultural ties between authors living in Germany.
The Commonwealth of Russian-Speaking Writers in Germany (CSL) is a public organization created in 2009 that unites writers and poets of various genres whose more or less permanent place of residence is Germany and who write in Russian.
The Commonwealth includes such authors as Viktor Erofeev, Sergey Solovyov, Yulia Kisina, Dmitry Dragilev, Mikhail Shleikher, Irina Evsa, Anna Berseneva, Denis Larionov, Alyosha Prokopyev, Yulia Efremenkova, Alexey Makushinsky, Boris Shapiro, Ilya Chlaki, Elena Tikhomirova, Daniil Benditsky and many others.
SLoG sees its mission as creating a space for communication at the crossroads of cultures, holds bilingual readings and festivals, supports translation metabolism, and publishes collections of its authors in thematic issues of printed and online media.
