OVD-Info — provides legal assistance to people persecuted for political reasons, publishes news about repressions and maintains databases of pressure from the state. The project was created in 2011 and remains one of the key sources of information on human rights violations in Russia. According to OVD-Info, almost 1450 people are in prison, thanks to donations, 100 of them have permanent legal assistance.
