Alexander Delfinov (born 1971 in Moscow) is a poet, prose writer, performance and spoken-word artist, and journalist. He is the co-founder of the PANDA platforma art cluster (Berlin, 2009). He is the winner of the international Poetry SLAM! Revue in Berlin (2007), the international poetry slam festival "Slamstival" in Jerusalem (2016), and a finalist of the European Poetry Slam (2020). His style is characterized by a combination of colloquial speech and classical lyricism, punk aesthetics and conceptualism, the absurd and stage improvisation. His poems have been translated into German, English, Spanish, Italian, Finnish, French, Greek, Georgian, and Hebrew. Since 2023, he has been performing the theatrical performance "Under the Raccoon's Watch," based on Artur Solomonov's novel "Nathan." The proceeds were donated to aid Ukraine. Since 1998, he has collaborated with various non-governmental organizations focused on HIV prevention and advocacy for humane drug policy in Russia, primarily with the Andrey Rylkov Foundation. He is a participant in the #ЯПсих project, a documentary series about people living with psychiatric diagnoses (Berlin, 2019-2021). In 2024, he released the anti-war spoken-word album "Radio Spektakel," a collaboration with musician and sound producer Evgeny Shapovalov. In 2025, he released the musical and poetic AI album "Songs of the Last Wave" with Petr Goriev. Lives in Berlin since 2001. In May 2025, he was recognized as a "foreign agent" in the Russian Federation.
