Meeting with Olga Prokhorova and Ekaterina Shulman

July 9 19: 00

Immanuel Church

Immanuelkirchstr.1, 10405 Berlin

Olga Prokhorova, psychologist and writer, will talk about her book, "I'm Not Needed, But I Am: How to Overcome the Trauma of Rejection and Regain Self-Respect."
Co-host – Ekaterina Shulman

The conversation will focus on sensitivity to rejection, how it is reflected in psychology, literature, and socio-political life.

We'll talk about literature and historical events when resentment and rejection shaped the fates of literary heroes and entire nations. We'll also discuss how to cope with the human soul's vulnerability to ostracism and exile, how to avoid compounding pain with self-denial, and how to restore self-respect and resilience.

At the meeting you will be able to ask the presenters any questions and buy books.
